Light a Life

        Vaala Valara Vali (V3) is a social service organization that aims at avoiding illiteracy in India. To know more about V3 click here

        Now an intriguing question to you. Is there something that’s poorer than poverty? It is something which is the root cause of poverty? Yes it is illiteracy…Oh! Illiteracy.Ya! I got the answer .Then let me go ahead and remove it first. No, it cannot be done overnight by splashing a few words of wisdom on those poor minds like a bottle of champagne. Instead we all shall make a reasonable campaign, called “Light a Life”.

        Last academic year’s successful work has motivated us and we want to contribute to our society in an even better way. The upcoming project is entitled as “Light a Life“. Yes, at V3 through “Light a Life” we want to eradicate poverty. For that to happen we need to educate a plenty. If not ‘plenty’ at least a twenty. Though the number of them we educate lies in your hand, we have done our part in helping a total of 7 students for this academic year. The list of the students and their details has been listed at V3 Activities .

What we do on our part?

        Since ,its not possible for one among us to fulfill the necessities of all children, so let each one of us take a child and strive to provide V3(வாழ வளர வழி) for that child. At V3 we find the most deserving students of the society who need immediate help in order to pursue their studies and provide Education to all of them through “ Light a Life“. The fee for each student ranges from Rs.500/- to 2000/- (approx) depending upon the medium of education they undergo.

How can I:

        It doesn’t mean that only when we earn we can contribute to our society, many members of V3 are students, and if we all can make it happen then you too can. We have planned and implementing things in advance so that we give each student an opportunity to save some rupee a day and contribute to “Light a Life “. Moreover you are most welcome to spread the gospel truth of V3 to boundless expanse of this world. Perhaps the world opens up and looks big when our own hearts open up.

Transparency:

        Through V3 you know exactly where your money is being spent (entire details of that child will be provided). We also take up the responsibility of making you aware of the child’s academic progress and act as a bridge between the child and the donor. The students too, are selected only on the basis of weaker economic background and need, but not on marks. This is done through iterative, stringent personal verifications so that each penny we spend reaches the right one.

If a person has compassion for others, he will help, serve anybody at any time.

We have to fill our hearts with love and compassion which will spread the fragrance of kindness and service.
This is in fact the Lesson taught to us by the world. Look at the world; look at the nature. Every limb of nature rushes towards us to serve us.
But the world is changing towards cruel ways.
It gives the begging bowl in the hands which toil.
And kisses the feet that kick!
Hence it is the man who has to come forward to serve the humanity.

        Let’s provide slates to open up their gates.

        V3 doesn’t want the next generation to face the difficulties we faced. Let’s take a step forward in making India a poverty free nation with 100% education. Let all of us join together and enlighten the life of each student by providing quality education. Let’s “Light a Life “.

        As you sow, so shall they read.

What do we expect?

        Contributing to “Light a Life” is not mandatory, it’s just an option. You can enroll yourself in V3 if you are one among us with the aspiration of eradicating illiteracy (help us through our various other projects).

• We help the students to grade themselves depending upon their individuality and to improve their quality by conducting various competitions.

• We are in search of some dark lives that can glow through our “Light a Life” project.

வாழ வளர வழி

         Returning to India after a successful journey of finding Sita in Lanka, Hanuman summed up the account of his journey in a nutshell, saying ‘Kandaien Seethaiyai’. Keeping in mind such a servile mythological character we would here like to state the prime focus of our organization (V3) .First things First Isn’t it! Yes, its - “Education for the needy”. Shortly, we aim to provide a helping hand to those writing hands.

         Since qualitative education is the prime focus of our organization, we would like to highlight the necessity for education in every individual. Education is the one that shows the path for better life and progress. So through our organization we all strive to be a part of a child’s life, their progress and career development and guides them through the path in attaining their career objective. So that’s why the name has been selected as "வாழ வளர வழி". Since there are 3 v’s in Vaazha Valara Vazhi we commonly use V3.We chose such a name because we wanted our organization to be named in the native language so that it can reach people of all classes. Moreover we wanted the exact motive and aim of our organization to be conveyed through the name itself.
